Supporting Families to Learn, Live & Grow With Intention

The Intentional Collective is an integrated education and family-support service created by Emily Darcy, an educator, ICF-accredited life coach, and experienced homeschool support coach. Our work centres on helping families design learning and living experiences that are purposeful, peaceful, and deeply aligned with what matters most to them.

With more than 15 years of experience in education, spanning learning support, behaviour needs, curriculum design, and family advocacy, Emily brings a holistic, compassionate, and practical approach to guiding families. Today, she blends her work as both a homeschool consultant and life coach to provide support that meets the needs of the whole child and the whole family.

Our mission is simple:

To help families learn with confidence, advocate with clarity, and build a home-learning life that supports wellbeing, connection, and intentional growth.

Many families find their way to The Intentional Collective because they are experiencing one or more of the following:

  • feeling overwhelmed by curriculum requirements
  • uncertainty about how to meet their child’s needs
  • exhaustion from juggling everything alone
  • stress about “getting homeschooling right”
  • a desire for more calm, clarity, structure, and support

Wherever you are on your homeschooling journey, be it just at the beginning, transitioning from school, or refining your rhythm, we’re here to make your next step lighter.

How We Support Families

⭐️ Homeschool Setup & Consulting

Ideal for new or transitioning homeschoolers, this service offers clarity and confidence without overwhelm. We support families with curriculum mapping, weekly learning rhythms, identifying learning styles, documenting progress, and recommending personalised resources. As a homeschool consultant, Emily ensures every plan reflects your child’s strengths, needs, and natural curiosity.

⭐️ Learning Resources

Our learning materials are intentionally designed to be worksheet-free, play-based, curriculum-aligned, and rooted in hands-on, real-world learning. From nature-based exploration to movement-rich activities, these resources make home education meaningful, joyful, and manageable.

⭐️ Education Advocacy & School Support

For families navigating mainstream schooling—especially with children who have additional needs—we offer guidance on understanding adjustments, communicating with schools, preparing for meetings, and advocating confidently. You don’t have to navigate the system alone.

⭐️ Coaching for Mothers Navigating Homeschooling & Life Transitions

Homeschooling sits within the ecosystem of your entire life. Through intentional life-coaching support, Emily helps mothers move through burnout, decision fatigue, identity changes, and emotional load. This coaching reconnects you to clarity, purpose, and what truly matters, so your family can thrive.

The Intentional Collective Approach

Everything we create and deliver sits at the intersection of intentional living, child-centred education, research-informed practice, and compassionate, grounded support. We believe that learning should feel meaningful, connected, and doable—not stressful or overwhelming. Our commitment is to walk alongside families as they build a home-learning life that feels calm, capable, and aligned with their values.

If you’re seeking a calmer homeschooling journey, clearer direction, and personalised support from a homeschool support coach and homeschool consultant who genuinely understands both education and family life, The Intentional Collective is here for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work with families who are brand new to homeschooling?

Yes! This is one of the most common reasons families contact us. We guide you step-by-step through curriculum choices, planning, rhythms, documentation, and how to get started with
confidence (and far less overwhelm).

What ages or year levels do you support?

We support families from early years to upper primary, with flexibility to adjust for early high
school learners when appropriate. Many resources work beautifully across multiple year levels
and can be easily adapted for all levels and abilities.

Can you help us decide whether homeschooling or mainstream schooling is the right fit?

Yes! Many families come to us during transition periods. We help you explore your child’s
needs, learning preferences, wellbeing, and family values so you can make an informed,
confident decision.

Do you offer support for parents as well as children?

Yes. Alongside educational consulting, I offer coaching for mothers navigating overwhelm,
identity shifts, transitions, or the emotional load that often comes with homeschooling and
parenting.

How do I know which service is right for my family?

Most families start with a complimentary 30-minute connection call. During this session, we
explore your goals, your child’s needs, and your current challenges, then map out the best
pathway and recommendations for your situation.
