Meet the Author
Kathy Gonzalez is the homeschool mum, teacher and engineer behind Milestone Learning. She has been teaching and tutoring since the 1980s, from tutoring her high-school peers and lecturing university students to working one-on-one with young children and tutoring students with diverse learning needs.
Kathy holds a PhD in Computer Engineering and has spent more than 20 years homeschooling her own children. Her experience has convinced her that good educational resources don't need to be complicated or designed for a classroom to be rigorous.
Milestone Learning grew out of that conviction. Kathy develops practical, carefully structured, screen-free resources that help children understand what they are learning and give parents confidence that the important foundations haven't been skipped.
