Homeschool With Heart
Modern Waldorf Pty Ltd and Sunshine Bridge Education offer families a warm, creative, and holistic approach to learning rooted in the principles of holistic Waldorf homeschooling. Based on the Gold Coast and online, we combine the richness of artistic, nature-based education with the clarity and structure of the Australian Curriculum. The result is a modern, accessible Waldorf learning experience for today’s homeschooling families.

The Modern Waldorf Mission
Our mission is simple: to help children learn with joy, curiosity, and confidence. Whether your family chooses our in-person learning spaces at Sunshine Bridge Education or connects through Modern Waldorf’s online classrooms, every program is designed to nurture head, heart, and hands. We also offer our own step-by-step primary home education curriculum (with secondary in development), giving parents everything needed to bring a meaningful Waldorf rhythm into the home.
Who Is Modern Waldorf
Modern Waldorf provides creative, curriculum-aligned online learning programs and downloadable resources designed specifically for Australian homeschoolers and alternative learners. Our lessons are created by qualified, passionate educators who blend academic structure with imagination, storytelling, nature-based experiences, and hands-on creativity, all hallmarks of holistic Waldorf homeschooling.
Families can choose from downloadable units, live online classes, or a flexible mix of both. Everything is designed to be simple to deliver, deeply engaging for children, and easy for parents to use at their own pace.
Sunshine Bridge Education, our in-person learning hub in Nerang (QLD), brings this same philosophy to life within a supportive community environment. Children learn in small, multi-age groups that encourage collaboration, empathy, self-expression, and independence. Together, our online and in-person spaces offer families continuity, connection, and the freedom to tailor education to their needs.

Our Educational Philosophy
Our signature “Modern Waldorf” philosophy blends traditional Steiner-inspired pedagogy with contemporary educational methods. We honour rhythm, storytelling, sensory learning, beauty, and wonder. At the same time, we provide clear academic structure and measurable outcomes that support parents navigating the Australian Curriculum.
This balanced approach helps children grow academically, socially, emotionally, and creatively. It also makes holistic Waldorf homeschooling accessible to modern families, whether learning takes place at home, online, in person, or through a hybrid model.
We believe education should be meaningful, joyful, and deeply human. Our teachers design lessons that spark imagination, encourage critical thinking, and build confidence. No matter how your child learns best, we offer the resources, community, and support to help them thrive.
